The World Forgotten Children Foundation (WFCF) is proud to share that on December 19, 2024, we donated $5,000 to the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NYSPCC), the nation’s first child protection agency. Since its founding in 1874, the NYSPCC has been a trailblazer in child protection, influencing foundational laws and practices to safeguard children from abuse and neglect.
The NYSPCC’s mission addresses the complex needs of abused and neglected children through counseling, legal advocacy, and educational services. Over nearly 150 years, they have impacted the lives of more than two million children. Today, their work extends beyond local communities, offering training and education initiatives that share best practices with child protection professionals worldwide.
Our donation is a reflection of our shared commitment to protecting vulnerable children and supporting families in crisis. At WFCF, we believe in fostering safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive. This collaboration highlights our dedication to promoting the health and welfare of children, not only in developing nations but also in communities where support is urgently needed.
Through this contribution, we reaffirm our mission to illuminate the lives of children in need and to support organizations like the NYSPCC that are creating lasting, positive change. We are honored to play a part in their important work and remain steadfast in our commitment to uplifting the most vulnerable members of society.
