How We Help

Since its beginning, the World Forgotten Children Foundation (WFCF) has supported projects that provide the necessary medical devices and care needed to improve the lives and conditions of orphaned children and young adults living with disabilities in developing countries. Because of the direct link between poverty and orphaned children, equal attention must be paid to efforts that will guide these communities out of poverty and toward a more sustainable future.

Children With Disabilities

Children with disabilities in developing nations face an array of disadvantages and challenges due to their communities and caregivers having a lack of resources to ensure proper care. WFCF is committed to funding programs around the world that will ensure that these children have all the necessary resources to have the best quality of life possible.

We invite your organizations to submit a project proposal for possible funding by WFCF.

Whom May Apply?

• Registered 501(c)3 nonprofit in US
• Registered NGO in country of origin
• Services of organization must benefit one or both of the following 1. children with disabilities/children in underserved communities and nations 2. projects in developing nations that focus on sustainability and community growth.
• Organization must be compliant with anti-terrorism guidelines.

How to Apply?

1. Fill out and submit WFCF Project Proposal Form.
2. Submit three (3) years of tax returns. (US organizations need 990 forms. Canadian organizations need T2 forms)
3. References from major donors or former project partners, links to social media pages, summaries of previous projects completed by the organization.

WFCF does not fund the following:

• Government affiliated organizations
• Political campaigns
• Religious organizations (WFCF does consider funding projects that are being coordinated by faith-based programs).
