Who We Are
Providing hope to children with disabilities all around the world.
Mission statement.
The World Forgotten Children Foundation (WFCF) is a private nonprofit effort, founded for the sole purpose of supporting projects that promote the health and welfare needs of underprivileged communities and orphaned children with disabilities in developing countries.
Vision statement.
Our vision is a world where no child goes without the medical and therapeutic help and equipment they need. We envision a world that utilizes sustainable practices in communities for the benefit of all.
What is the World Forgotten Children Foundation (WFCF)?
In 2003, we embarked on a journey to illuminate the lives shrouded in darkness – the forgotten orphaned children with disabilities in developing nations. Thus, the World Forgotten Children Foundation (WFCF) was born, driven by our unwavering commitment to make a difference.
Initially, our focus was on providing essential support for the health and welfare of these overlooked children. From medical aid to therapeutic interventions, every effort was dedicated to bridging the chasm between despair and hope, neglect and care.
As years passed, our vision expanded. We realized that true change transcends individual aid; it requires transforming entire communities. Therefore, WFCF extended its reach beyond orphanages and institutions, embracing the communities these children called home.
Understanding that sustainable change begins at the grassroots, our mission evolved. We seek not only to uplift individual children but also to foster resilience within their communities. By promoting community development and sustainability, we aim to create environments where every child could thrive.
Today, WFCF stands as a testament to the power of compassion and perseverance. Guided by our vision of inclusivity, we continue to champion the rights and needs of the most marginalized. Through our unwavering dedication, we illuminate a path towards a brighter, more equitable future for all.
